    From zero AI presence to 14 assistant sessions and 39 LLM referrals across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude — a channel that did not exist for them the month before.

    Engaged better.

    Site-wide engagement time tripled (+207.7%, 3s → 11s per session). Engaged sessions rose 76.9% (225 → 398). AI-sourced visitors engaged at 57.14% vs 19.51% site-wide.

Why CTR and ranking position moved down.

Two metrics moved down: CTR (1.3% → 1.0%) and average position (8.6 → 10.6). That's the expected signature of AI search, not a decline.
